• Careers Evening and Futures Fair
  Following the success of last year’s debut event, we are delighted that a second community Careers Evening and Futures Fair will take place at the school on Thursday, 13th February, between 4.30 and 7.30pm.

  Congratulations to the Year 8 football team who secured a 3-1 win against Archbishop Sentamu Academy on Monday, 20th January.

  A group of GCSE dance students are celebrating after landing a dream opportunity to perform at Disneyland Paris.

• Successful Santa Run helps mark the end of term
  On Friday 20th December, staff and students took part in the school’s annual Santa Run.

  Business leaders from across Hull and East Yorkshire are continuing to volunteer their time as part of a collective effort to help inspire young people to think about self-employment as a career option.
• Power of petitions explored during Parliament visit  
  As part of their personal development studies, a group of year 8 students from Withernsea High School recently enjoyed a unique learning experience at the Houses of Parliament.

  To help them navigate the selection processes that will unlock future study and employment opportunities, students have benefitted from a series of activities designed to develop the skills and techniques required to thrive in an interview situation.
