Year 6 Transition
Update: 28th April 2025
28/04/25: Thank you to the parents/carers and Year 6 pupils who attended the formal introduction to Withernsea High School last Thursday, 24th April.
Guest speakers included Mr Crofts (Headteacher), Mr Burnitt (Assistant Headteacher), Mrs Monaghan (Head of Personal Development) and Mr Beattie (SENCO).
We were also delighted to welcome four representatives of the school’s Board for Change – a group of student ambassadors who take an active role in the life of the school, working collectively to help make significant changes for the benefit of their peers.
If you missed the event, please the Letter and Document list below where you can download a copy of a handout that was given to parents/carers at the event. Amongst other things, this contains an overview of the school, our expectations and who students can turn to for support.
This week (w/c 28th April) sees the start of our primary school visits, where Miss Wiseman (Head of Year 7) and Mr Burnitt will meet pupils and staff.
