Throughout November, students at Withernsea High School have benefitted from a number of events and activities focussing on road safety and Active Travel.
A recent ‘Living Faith’ event offered students in Years 8 and 9 an opportunity to meet representatives from different faith groups, including Islam, Baha'i, Humanism, Christianity and Judaism, to learn about different worldviews.
The thriving partnership between Active Withernsea and WHS was one of the hot topics of conversation at a recent conference which invited attendees to learn about the work taking place to make Withernsea a healthier and more active town.
As part of their recent studies in Science, students in Years 7 and 8 were set a creative homework task to demonstrate their learning of cells and atoms.
Congratulations to the Year 11 football team who, after a slow start, bounced back to win 7-4 against Driffield.
