  • Santa Run becomes a ramble in aid of Dove House
    Following in the footsteps of countless other schools across Hull and East Yorkshire this December, Withernsea High School has helped to support the work of Dove House Hospice by staging their very own fundraising Santa Run, albeit with a bit of a twist.

    Following similar efforts in recent years, staff and students at Withernsea High have once again shown their compassion for others by collecting donations of non-perishable food items that will help those who are most in need of support this Christmas.

    A singer-songwriter with an impressive background comprising chart success, festival appearances and a UK arena tour with rock band The Killers, recently took to the stage in Withernsea where he helped to spread a musical message about mental well-being.

    To help them navigate the selection processes that will unlock future study and employment opportunities, Year 11 students have benefitted from a series of events designed to develop the skills required to thrive in an interview situation.
