Following staff training days on Monday 1st and Tuesday 2nd September, students return on a staggered start for the new academic year.
Withernsea High School has become one of only three schools in England to receive an ‘outstanding’ accreditation through a national scheme promoting environmentally friendly travel.
Towards the end of term, Year 10 students completed a week of work experience, providing them with a valuable opportunity to explore potential career paths through direct engagement with local employers.
Last Thursday, 21st August, the Year 11 cohort collected their GCSE and VTQ (Vocational and Technical Qualifications) results.
Results will be available to collect, in-person, at the Holderness Learning Centre (HLC) between 9.00am and 12.00 noon on Thursday, 21st August.
