Introduction
Withernsea High School is a co-educational, non-denominational secondary school based in Withernsea, East Riding of Yorkshire, for students aged 11-18.
Located approximately 18 miles to the east of Hull, Withernsea is a seaside town in a rural, countryside location on the east coast. The school serves the population of southern Holderness and currently educates around 720 pupils.
The school is committed to raising standards and in its Ofsted 2016 Inspection it was found to be a Good school. Ofsted made the following observations:
• The school is a calm and purposeful place
• Overall, pupils treat each other and adults with respect and this leads to effective personal development, behaviour and welfare.
