Student Council
Over many years, the Student Council has represented the views of the student body and held regular meetings with members of the senior team and governing body.
This has enabled governors, staff and students to work collaboratively on ways to make life at our school even better.
A formal election process takes place, with students who wish to be part of the council writing a manifesto outlining what they would bring to the council and how they would represent the views of our students.
The most recent elections took place in the Autumn term and the following council members were elected...

Following the election, students have met remotely alongside Mr Mabbott, Miss Hunter-Robinson and Mrs Henderson (Governor).
Despite the restrictions of the pandemic, the students have led a series of high-quality discussions in council meetings. This has led to excellent feedback on the quality of our remote learning, which has been fed back to the senior team. The meetings have also enabled the council to work together on Mental Health awareness and broadening horizons around the LGBTQ+ community.
Students are working on ideas and strategies in each of these areas and will be sharing these with the rest of the student body shortly.
