The "Which way now" booklet is designed to help students choose their key stage 4 options in Y9. Inside you will find workbooks and information designed to help you make the right decision. There's also a parent and carers section to help parents support young people to choose well at key stage 4. In addition the guide provides information about The Education and Skills Act 2008 and what this means to current Y9 students continuing their education until they are 17.

The "It's your Choice" booklet is designed to help students in Y11 make informed choices about further education and training post 16. The booklet is designed to develop students own career ideas and explore alternative routes to achieve their goals. This booklet also has a parent and carers section to help inform parents about further education and or training and how to get additional support for their young people.

U-Explore

U-Explore is an interactive careers education site, you will find lots of information about careers that you may be interested in and the training and qualifications you will need. The site has videos or real people who are working in their chosen fields and practical tips on how to reach your goal.

The new Diploma qualification

This site has all the information you need to know about the diploma, a new qualification that you can do at school or college. There are currently up to 10 subjects to choose from and are available from September 2009 in different areas of the country. By 2011, there will be 17 subjects in total.
