Employment
Occasionally it is possible to earn some money by becoming employed within the School, as Lunch Time Attendants, Cleaners, Car Park Attendants etc. Mr. Findlay has application forms if you wish to apply for any internal job, and can hold them on file for when vacancies arise.
Cars on Site
It is likely that some of you will pass your driving test once you reach 17 – well done! And some will be fortunate enough to have their own car. Before you bring it onto the school site, you must register it at the School Front Office. When you do this, you need to take along your insurance documents as well as your driving licence and registration details. At all times, you must adhere to the site rules, observing the no parking zones, speed limit and one-way system.
Please note, we are not allowed to park in the Sure Start car park at any time, or on any grassed areas.
CONNEXIONS
The Connexions Personal Advisors are still available to 6th Form students, either for counselling about personal matters or for advice on possible future employment options. Appointments can be made either through Mrs. Kirk or directly on 611572 for careers advice or 611570 for personal advice.

PLEASE NOTE
This handbook has been created to try and ease your transition into becoming a 6th Former and hopes to provide you with all of the information you need in order to meet the expectations and standards set for the 6th Form. If there is anything you feel is not covered, or covered in enough detail, please let Mrs Kirk know, and it will be included in the next version. Please keep this booklet handy so that you can refer back to it at any time on points you need to clarify.
An online version of this booklet can be accessed on the School Website, http://www.withernseahigh.org.uk/
