6 Facilities

We are very lucky in having a 6^th Form Centre for the exclusive use of Post-16  students.  The facilities include a:

• Computer room available for study and research purposes
• Study Room
• Pool table and table tennis table for taking a break from your studies
•  Music system – can be played during break and lunchtime
• Chess boards
• Hot drinks machine
• Chilled drinks dispenser

Throughout the year, various activities take place in order to raise funds for the 6^th Form Fund.

The 6^th Form Fund is used to finance things like the hot drinks machine, any equipment needed in the 6^th Form Study Centre and the End of School Year Party, if you want one.

The 6^th Form  Study Centre is a privilege, offering a place to both study and relax, and students are asked to respect this space, and not leave litter, deface or vandalise any furniture or equipment. It is also a condition of use of the 6^th Form Centre that everyone shows respect for others in the area. Rough horseplay, and foul or disrespectful language will not be tolerated. Any student disrespecting others in any way will be asked to leave the centre and may be banned from using the 6^th Form Study Centre.

In the summer it is tempting to take furniture outside to sit in the sunshine. However, whilst no objection is made to students sitting outside, no furniture must be taken out and absolutely no ball games are permitted near the building, in case of damage to windows. Any litter must be picked up and placed in the bins provided in the 6^th Form Study Centre.
