1 Life in Sixth Form
Congratulations on deciding to continue your education in the 6th Form!
You will find now that your education is very different to what you have experienced before. Along with your academic education, you will be expected to take on some responsibilities, both towards yourself and towards others. In the 6th Form, you are encouraged to, and given the opportunities to, develop into a responsible, independent young adult. You are now in control of your education. The subjects you are to study are the ones you have chosen, and hopefully you will decide to work hard enough to enable you to achieve good grades to ‘A’ Level or OCR National Certificate standard. Your teachers will provide you with everything you need in order to enter your exams with confidence. It is your responsibility to make the most of every opportunity offered to you.
