4 Communication

So that you are fully aware of what is going on in school from day-to-day, the Post-16 Staff expect you to:

1.        Check your school email account daily as important information, both generic and personal, is sent in this way.

If you do not know how to access your account, or have problems accessing your account, you MUST speak to one of the IT Technicians to rectify the problem.

Computers available to the sixth form are as follows:

• Sixth Form Study Centre – 5 machines

• MMC – 12 machines

• D10 – 10 machines.

It is very important that machines are kept available for students who wish to use them for study. The playing of games is not allowed in any location, nor the sending of inappropriate emails.

2.    Read the Post-16 Study Centre notice boards daily.  Again, important notices are displayed, including events, exam information, teacher absence, cancelled lessons, etc.
