As a Post-16 student, the school expects the following standards from all pupils
1. Arrive punctually to all subject lessons, fully equipped with any necessary stationery, research or notes, etc.
2. Complete all homework assignments within deadlines set by subject teachers.
3. Complete all coursework assignments within deadlines set by subject teachers.
4. Work at a standard appropriate to your Alps potential grade in each subject.
5. Maintain effort in all subject work.
6. Attend all externally assessed examinations for which you have been entered. Failure to attend any exam will result in your being invoiced for the costs incurred.
7. Attend review sessions to agree academic action plans.
8. Behave in a manner appropriate to a senior member of the school community, in lessons, in the Sixth Form Study Centre, and around the school.
9. When in the Main School Building, please follow these rules - no hats or hoods to be worn indoors, no mobile phones, iPods or Mp3 players to be switched on, particularly when in lessons.
10. When in the main school building, please do not wander around the school, this can cause disruptions to lessons for groups of people to be passing by rooms. Keep to the areas in which you have lessons, and go straight to lessons and leave promptly.
11. When not in lesson, you must not congregate in the main school building. If you wish to socialise, the 6th form Study Centre is well equipped with music, quiet areas, chairs, tables and pool table as well as a study room.
12. Show consideration and respect to ALL members of the school community
Be involved in the life of the school and take part in school sporting, cultural, performance and charity activities as appropriate.
