Specialism

The school was designated a Technology College under the Speciality College Scheme in September 2000. 

Under this scheme the government provided us with £120,000 additional resources each year in order for us to develop our technology, science, mathematics and information communication technology facilities further.

In January 2005, the school achieved a second specialist status in Humanities.  From September 2009.

The School is concentrating on developing the Humanities specialism further.
