School Code of Conduct

The following points are the main features of our

school policies, which can be found in full in the

School Prospectus

To be safe we stay within allowed areas
To feel safe and to respect each other we do not accept violent or rude behaviour
To belong to Withernsea High School we wear the correct uniform and we follow the school dress code
To enable teaching and learning to take place we do not use mobile phones or music players in the school buildings during lesson or between lessons, at breaks or lunchtimes
To respect the environment we do not chew gum, graffiti or drop litter
To keep healthy and to respect other peoples’ rights we do not smoke on the buses or on or near the school site
To ensure a safe and orderly community we follow the requests of all members of staff without arguing
