A National Moment of Reflection, to mourn the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and reflect on her life and legacy, will take place at 8pm on Sunday 18th September, the night before the State Funeral.

In Withernsea, this will take the shape of a one-minute silence in the town's Jubilee Gardens.

Councillor Jacqui Blackburn, Mayor of Withernsea, invites the people of Withernsea to join with her, and fellow Withernsea Town Councillors to join the moment of reflection. Anyone wishing to attend should arrive for 7.55pm.

There is also a book of condolence that is available to sign at the Council office at the Meridian Centre and this can be signed between 11am and 3pm for the remainder of this week.
