Online Safety

Humberside Police have reached out to local schools to raise awareness with parents/carers about a website that is of concern to them.

Omegle.com allows anonymous profiles to share text, images and videos with other users under the tag line ‘talk to strangers’.

This clearly raises alarm bells and the police have asked if parents/carers can be made aware to safeguard their children from using this site.

Now, more than ever, is a time to be extra vigilant and ensure that our students are kept safe online. The links below offer help, advice and guidance for keeping young people safe throughout this increased period of internet usage.
