Withernsea rise to the occasion in rugby victory

On Wednesday 21st November, Year 7 and 8 students from Withernsea High School took on Rise Academy in a Rugby match, which was officiated by Hull KR Community Coaches.

Held at Withernsea RUFC’s ground in Hollym, the fixture aimed to aid the development of rugby league within both schools.

Withernsea High School presents The Greatest Showcase

Dance students at Withernsea High School are busy preparing for their next live performance extravaganza which is scheduled to take place early in the New Year.

‘The Greatest Showcase’ is a celebration of pop icons and the qualities that define them. From expression to strength, individuality to confidence - the characteristics that define our icons also shape our performers.

Sixth Form students enjoy business networking opportunity

On Thursday 22nd November, 14 members of our Sixth Form were given the opportunity to meet entrepreneurs from across the region at a seminar promoting business growth.

The event, held at the Hallmark Hotel in North Ferriby, formed part of James Legal’s ‘Inspiring Business 2018’ campaign – an initiative which aims to support local entrepreneurs as they look to expand and develop their businesses.
