End of term

A reminder to parents/carers that term ends this Friday, 21st December at 2.20pm.

Students return to school on Tuesday, 8th January 2019 (Week B).

Further information about the last day of term ('Mufti Day') can be found in a recently released letter to parents.

Year 7 Football

On Friday 30th November, the Year 7 football teams travelled to the Goals football centre in Hull to take part in the East Riding five-a-side championship.

Following recent team achievements, there was a real sense of expectation in the air for their success in the tournament.

Students receive a masterclass in Entrepreneurship

On Wednesday 5th December, students at Withernsea High School benefited from the knowledge and experience of some of the region’s most successful business leaders during a masterclass in entrepreneurship.

The session was delivered by members of For Entrepreneurs Only (FEO), a Hull-based company made up of local entrepreneurs who collectively turnover around £3.2bn annually and employ over 22,000 people.

Year 11 students explore apprenticeship opportunities

On Wednesday 28th November, over 30 Year 11 students attended the 'Apprenticeships Pathways' event at Bishop Burton College.

Organised by the ERYC Education and Skills Partnership, the event aimed to provide students with general information and guidance about apprenticeships and highlight the variety of options that could be open to them in September 2019 and beyond.
