Students of our Sixth Form have had a busy end to the first half term of the new academic year due to their participation in a variety of curricular and extra-curricular activities, including fieldwork and fundraising.

Year 11 look to the future

As part of Withernsea High School’s on-going Careers, Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) programme, the school’s Year 11 cohort recently benefited from a full day of activities and presentations aimed at helping them to make informed choices about their plans for September 2018 and beyond.

Sixth Form students help raise money for charity

Inspired by what they had heard during the recent visit of a guest speaker from the Teenage Cancer Trust, two Sixth Form students took it upon themselves to organise a bake sale to help raise much-needed funds for the charity.

Congratulations, Pauline!

One of Withernsea High School’s current longest-serving members of staff was recognised for her dedication to the school this week when she was presented with a long-service award.

Vacancy: Student Support Unit Coordinator

The school requires an experienced and qualified colleague to lead our work with students in our soon-to-be-opened Student Support Unit, which will seek to raise the attainment of disengaged students and those with behavioural difficulties.
