Welcome return of awards evening
Monday 18th December saw the welcome return of Withernsea High School’s Key Stage 4 and 5 Awards Evening.
The event primarily serves to recognise the hard work of students in years 11 and 13 who are currently working towards their respective GCSE and A-Level qualifications.

Manchester Camerata: Students prepare for January concert
On Friday 1st December, a group of students took part in their final workshop with one of the UK’s top orchestras.
Following the huge success of no less than five previous workshops and two public performances of a composition that has been refined throughout the year, musicians from the Manchester Camerata Orchestra were once again on-hand to work with our students as they developed a brand new piece which will be premiered in a special concert at Bridlington Spa in January 2018.

Student Council members to have their voices heard by Local Government
On Wednesday 29th November, Withernsea High School’s student council took part in a workshop led by members of the ERYC Children and Young People Overview and Scrutiny sub-committee.
