Success for Withernsea High School students as results open doors to bright futures

Students of Withernsea High School, joined by staff and parents, returned to school today to collect their A-level results.

Anticipation gave way to relief and celebration as students secured places at universities of their choice around the country and on apprenticeships in a variety of professions.

Exam Results Days 2018

A-Level: Thursday 16th August

GCSE: Thursday 23rd August

A-Level and GCSE results will be available for collection from 9.00am in the Holderness Learning Centre (Sixth Form Centre).

Please note: If you are unable to collect your results in person, you can nominate a family member to collect them on your behalf. In order for them to do this they will need a written letter, signed by the candidate, naming the person who will be collecting and granting them permission. The person collecting will need photo identification. Any results which are not collected on the day will be held at the school for future collection.

 

Generation Games

On Wednesday 11th July, the generation gap between young and old was successfully bridged during an afternoon of exercise and games held at Withernsea High School.

Race for the Line - Students represent the county in national STEM competition

Summer 2019 will see the British-built Bloodhound SSC rocket car make an attempt to break the world land speed record in South Africa. In support of this, students in Withernsea High School’s 7 ‘O’ population have spent the past few months engaged in a national STEM competition to design, build and race their own rocket-propelled vehicles.
