Support staff vacancies

Position: Teaching Assistant - Level 1

Hours: Part Time, 25.5 hours per week

Salary: Point 11. £15,907 per annum pro rata

Closing date: Monday 17th July 2017


Withernsea High School is located in the pleasant, rural seaside town of Withernsea and serves the population of the town and surrounding villages. OFSTED rated our school as “Good” in our latest inspection.

The successful candidate will work with individual students who may have learning or physical difficulties, as well as with small groups within the classroom under the guidance of the classroom teacher. 

For the above post you should be flexible, able to work independently, meet pre-determined deadlines and possess good verbal communications skills.

The successful applicant should be proficient in building positive relationships with students, together with a professional approach with their teachers and other members of the Inclusion Team.  A friendly, outgoing, but firm personality is essential.

As well as the contracted hours the successful applicant may be expected to work some break and lunchtime duties as required, which may be built into the contract.
