National industrial action - Tuesday 5th July.

It has been announced that the NUT are planning national industrial action on Tuesday 5th July 2016.

We anticipate that this is likely to affect teaching and support provision at Withernsea High School and we will be closely monitoring the situation to identify the potential impact.

We will keep you updated as information becomes clearer but wanted to provide as early an alert as possible.

Year 11 Prom - Students celebrate in style

Last Friday night, around 90 students from Withernsea High School’s Year 11 cohort came together to celebrate the end of their GCSE exams, which in turn marked the end of their 5 years of compulsory education at the school.

Time for tea

A group of year 9 students hosted a special Tea Party on the afternoon of Wednesday 15th June as an opportunity to show off their practical work and celebrate their achievements.

Hair and Beauty students at Withernsea High School are appealing for models to help put their learning in to practice during a special work experience week.

England 2 – Wales 1

Yesterday afternoon (16/06/16), around 350 of our students gathered in the sports hall to watch England beat Wales 2 – 1 in the group stages of Euro 2016.
